So, I've told you a little bit, but do you want to hear a bit more? Where did my passion for all of the little extra's come from. Sad as it may be but it came from working with them! Working in London can introduce you to some wierd and wonderful careers and mine is definately one if them. As the days went by, I'm constantly trawling the shelves. Seeing rows and rows of items that you may have only seen a couple of times in your granny's cabinet. From rows of ornaments...then on into the vases...out into all of the kitchen wares...then rummaging through the TV's and radio's it suddenly dawned on me that my eyes are not attracted to the new 'gear' but to the brightly coloured, cute, retro kitsch pieces that I would have never normally chose. I then thought who wants a modern piece that everyone has when you can have a piece from the 1960's that are rarely seen! And there I was! Ethel in all my glory! Now, I don't want you to get me confused with a crazed kleptomaniac. That I am not. Maybe, hoarder is a better word. I am a person who likes to hoard. But there is only so much cramming and stuffing that a flat can begin to take! The saying "That will come in useful one day" is still a firm favourite but how many 'useful' things can one girl have? Now it is time for you to have them, look after them and display them with pride! |

So, Rome wasn't built in a day and this website is no exception. As my first crack at breaking into this elusive world of retro fashions, I will be updating the site over the weeks as I go along. Very soon my gallery will be up so you, my luvlies can have a browse and maybe bookmark the things that you want to purchase from the trunk. You can add comments to my blog and email me if there are any particular questions you have. I am not here to please everyone, just you guys, the ones that have taken the time to check my pages out! Thank you my beauties, speak very soon! xx Mwah xx |
